SQL Database Admin/Developer

Location: Noida, Sector 68

Working Days: 5 Days (Saturday & Sunday will be fixed off)

Working Mode: Work from Office

Experience Required: 10+ yrs.

Notice Period: Immediate / 15-30 days.

Position Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Database Administrator/Developer to join our dynamic IT team.

As a Database Administrator with 10+ years of hands-on experience, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and managing our organization's database systems.

This position requires a 100% individual contributor role.

Skills Must have: 1. Database Management: o Install, configure, and upgrade SQL Server software. o Design, implement, and maintain database structures. o Ensure data integrity and availability through regular backups and disaster recovery planning. o Monitor database performance and optimize as needed.

2. Security: o Implement and maintain database security measures, including user authentication and authorization. o Perform regular security audits and address vulnerabilities promptly.

3. Performance Tuning: o Identify and resolve performance issues, optimizing queries and database performance. o Implement best practices for database performance and resource utilization.

4. Troubleshooting: o Diagnose and resolve database-related issues promptly. o Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and other IT professionals.

5. Upgrades and Patches: o Stay current with SQL Server updates and patches. o Plan and execute database upgrades as necessary.

6. Documentation: o Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of database configurations, processes, and procedures.

7. Collaboration: o Collaborate with development teams to ensure efficient database design and implementation.

o Work closely with system administrators and network engineers to address infrastructure-related issues.

Oue Ideal Candidate comes with: • Proven experience as a SQL Server Database Administrator or similar role.

• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and its various components.

• Strong understanding of database security, backup, and recovery procedures.

• Experience in performance tuning and optimization.

• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
